Jennifer was born and raised in the Calgary area. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary in 2004 and completed her Bachelor of Laws in 2008 at the University of Saskatchewan. Jennifer relocated to Grande Prairie and was called to the Alberta bar in December 2009. She articled with a local firm and practiced there until joining Kay McVey Smith & Carlstrom LLP in the spring of 2012. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Grande Prairie Bar Association and the Alberta Expropriation Association.
Jennifer’s areas of practice include Corporate and Commercial Law, Real Estate, Estate Planning and Administration and Surface Rights. She enjoys giving back to her community and currently volunteers with Grande Prairie Legal Guidance as well as with the Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning providing volunteer instruction.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, quading, boating and gardening.
