Todd was raised in Lawn, Newfoundland. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1997 and his Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of New Brunswick in 2001. He was admitted to the Newfoundland Bar in 2002 and the Alberta Bar in 2004. He is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Grande Prairie Bar Association and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
Todd moved to Grande Prairie in 2003. He is involved with and advises several non-profit and community based organizations. Todd is involved with several community organizations. He formerly served as President of the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau and currently is a director of Kev’s Kids Society, a registered charity that aims to assist children in need in the local community. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital Foundation. He has served as a sessional instructor at Grande Prairie Regional College teaching an introductory law course and also regularly conducts legal presentations as a volunteer with the Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning and other community organizations. In his free time, Todd enjoys traveling and distance running. He completed the Vancouver Marathon in 2006. Todd’s primary areas of practice include corporate and commercial law, real estate, estate planning and administration.
